Susan Ivey is truly dedicated to developing a relationship with her clients so that buying or selling a home can be a positive experience for them. Susan and her late husband, long time realtor Ron Ivey, moved to Edmond in 1979 because it offered a “great place to raise a family”. That proved true. Their son Jimmy and his wife Megan live in Edmond, while Ron Jr. and his wife Kathryn live in Paris, France.
Following a career in the home building business and as a superintendent for Carriage Homes, Ron became a Realtor in 1986. He believed that ethical salesmanship is a key factor in providing the best service possible for his clients. Ron served on the Edmond Board of Realtors and had received the lifetime Achievement Award. He has also served as a trustee for the Edmond Public School Foundation.
Susan has had her Real Estate License since 1998. She recently retired from 33 years of teaching in Edmond Public Schools. Her recognitions in that career included Teacher of the Year at Will Rogers Elementary and Cheyenne Middle school, as well as a Finalist for Edmond Schools Teacher of the Year.
